My Time in Greece

This past September, I had the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen - Greece. The two-week journey commenced in Athens, and continued to four different islands: Mykonos, Paros, Santorini, and Crete. The combination of the food, the people, the beaches, and the good vibes was utterly perfect in every way. Although I enjoyed certain towns more than the others, each island has its own distinct characteristics that make it as captivating as it truly is. Since pictures are worth a thousand words, I'll let these do the rest of the talking.

Dining Decor

I tend to gravitate towards neutral and darker tones for most of my closet needs, but when it comes to adding a pop of color to an otherwise monotonous environment, I get a bit more adventurous. In my opinion, food and beverages fall under the colorful category that should never look dull. How else to brighten up a tabletop than with some striking colors and patterns? Here are some fun plates I would love to use for my meals.

Street Style

Casual tops + skirts

Street styles are one of the most covetable looks that people usually strive for. Something about its simplicity and effortlessly chic vibe make it appealing to the eye. Although some street style looks are assembled with high-end brands (especially during fashion weeks) there is still an abundance of casual looks that may be easier to replicate. Here are few of my favorite casual elegance ensembles, all from my Pinterest board! See my previous Street Style post here.

It puzzles me to think that the temperature along the lake (Lake Michigan to be exact) can vary significantly from the neighboring suburban towns. There is a difference of about 15-20 degrees, with suburbia being the warmer area of the two. For times like this, a solid pair of joggers becomes a lot more useful than expected - the thicker material helps with chilly mornings and the loose tailoring keeps it breezy for the afternoon weather. Plus, who doesn't want to be in a chic version of sweatpants?!
