Pumpkin With a Side of Lace

I know Thanksgiving is over and that pumpkins are slowing being replaced with holiday lights, however, I wanted to embrace the vibrant color of the passing season with this oversized sweater, which has been handed down from my mom. Oversized sweaters can be the ultimate go-to wear during fall because of the feasibility in having something not-so-thick to wear as the bottoms. In my case, I wore tights with a jersey skirt to allow a balanced body temperature since the sweater is thick enough to keep me extra warm. Now that Christmas is just few weeks away, I'll be sure to make use of every red, white, and green-toned attire in my closet.

Last winter, I spent a solid chunk of time hunting down for good camel pea coat and this coat I'm wearing was as close as I got. Surprisingly, Victoria Secret is where I found the treasure. Although the silhouette could be a bit more trimmed, the looseness of the coat allows me to layer on sweaters underneath without feeling too stuffy. This is my quintessential look for the fall weekends as I aim to be as warm as I can, while still looking effortless and comfortable.

This year has given me plethora of blessings and I am beyond excited in the new adventures I am honored to be a part of. To name a few, my blog - The Upmarket, Saffluence magazine, and now The Secret Space, which I am a co-founder of, has taken my life into a whole another dimension. I hope you take or have taken a moment to step back and reminisce on the gratifying experiences that has had some sort of effect on your life as Thanksgiving week comes to a wrap. I hope by next thanksgiving, all these ventures will have succeeded to a further level.
